Trek to Everest base camp begins with short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla airport and then follows the classical route to Everest camp or begins with a day drive from Kathmandu to Bhandar (Earlier the trekking begins from the place called Jiri, but these days the bus available up to Bhandar, a gate way to Solukhumbu) and follows the classical route to the base camp. The trekking in this region can be shorten or extend as per the requirements and schedule of the travelers. After making the trips to the base camp, you will return back to Lukla airport and fly back to Kathmandu or walk up to Bhandar along the same route and return back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Katmandu – Lukla (2,886m), Phakding
