Langtang circuit trekking is also known as round Langtang trekking. Langtang region trekking one of the shortest trekking trail can be completed within a week and two weeks maximum. The main attraction of this trekking exploring of Helambu, the Mountain Lake called Gosainkunda, crossing to the Gosainkunda pass and explore blend of culture of diverse communities in Helambu valley. This region is located at the border of Tibet. This is one of the unique and yet unspoiled trekking trail but easily accessible from Kathmandu.

Langtang region or Langtang circuit trekking is protected by Langtang National Park which is home to various animals and birds in the verge of extinctions and beautiful flowers. You can have trekking to a number of high peaks including of Langtang Lirung (7,246 m.), Langtang valley popularly known to be the valley of glaciers and other breathtaking Himalayan sceneries primarily of Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishanker Himal, Ganesh Himal, Langshisa Ri, Gangchenpo, Naya kanga, Annapurna Himalayan ranges etc. The travelers are amused with the blend of culture and warm hospitality of various ethnic groups residing along the trails primarily Hyolmo, Tamang and Sherpa. The dances and songs performed by these groups, the beautiful thatched and stone roofed houses, innocent smiles of ethnic groups, clear scenes of white-Himalayas, these all the features have made Langtang circuit trekking one of the special and rewarding and the most loved trekking packages. Langtang circuit trekking begins by one day drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi, then the trail continues through forests, valleys and fields that are beautifully carved as terraced and finally climb on the nearby pass and explore around holy lake Gosaikunda and then enter into Helambu and retrace to Syabrubensi village along the Tharepati, Kutumsang, Chisapani, you will finally reach at Sundarijal and then drive back to Kathmandu.

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1360m), Transfer to hotel
Once you land at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will complete the visa formalities and then meet with our representative who will be waiting for you with a display card holding on his hand over which your name will have been written. You will be picked up from Tribhuvan airport and taken to the luxury hotel where you will stay overnight in a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day02: Drive to Syabrubesi(1462m)
Depending upon the group size, we will choose either car or van or bus for Langtang trekking. The journey continues through the twists and bends of countryside road for about 8-9hours to reach Syabrubesi. We will pass through Trishuli Bazaar and proceed further through Dhunche to Syabrubesi.

Day 03: Trek to Lama Hotel (2500m)
Langtang National Park provides shelter for many rare species of floras and faunas and it is also the best spot for bird watching. We will cross the dense thickets and descend to Ghopche Khola. Passing through the area prone to landslide, we will follow the tapered route to Rimche (2400m). Crossing the bamboo woods, we will reach Lama Hotel where we will stay overnight.

Day04: Trek to Langtang Village (3307m)
Early in the morning, we will follow the escalating trail which passes through forest of rhododendron, pine, maples and oak. Some of the monkeys and local birds are common sight in this jungle. Exiting from the forest, we will arrive at Gumanchok from where the trail continues to Ghora Tabela. From Ghora Tabela, we will take the descending trail through Thangshyap to Langtang Village.

Day05: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3798m)
We will reach the top of ridge and enjoy the view of Langtang Ri before continuing the journey through the narrow path to the small villages of Sindum and Yamphu. Passing through these villages, you will reach Laja Khola. We need to cross Laja Khola to reach the view point. We can get the views of Kyangjin Gompa and icefall from Lirung and Kinshung. Finally, we will lower down to Kyanjin Gompa.   

Day06: Trek back to Lama Hotel (2500m)
From Kyangjin Gompa, we will retrace our route back to Lama Hotel. We will lower down to Langtang River. Crossing Langtang River, we will pass through Langtang Village to Lama Hotel where we will stay overnight.   

Day07: Trek to Thulo Syabru (2230m)
We will lower down to Pairo for the first part of the trek. The trail begins to rise from Pairo. We will pass through forest of blooming rhododendrons to a ridge which offers panoramic view of Ganesh Himal. The trail escalates up through Sherpa and Tamang villages to Thulo Syabru village.  

Day08: Trek to Sing Gompa (3330m)
We can get the fine view of Ganesh Himal. We will pass through rhododendron forest and Durbin Danda which offers the magnificent sight of Sing Gompa. We will walk through forested area to the meadow which offers views of Annapurna and Langtang Range. Eventually we will visit the Buddhist Monastery named Sing Gompa.

Day09: Trek to Gosainkunda (4460m)
We will climb up the hill and walk to Chalang Pati from where we can enjoy the view of Lirung Mountain. We will climb Laurebina Pass. Crossing the high pass of Laurebina, we will walk along stupa of Sakyamuni and arrive at Saraswati Kunda. We will walk through rocky terrain to Gosainkunda.

Day 10: Trek to Ghopte
The trail lowers down for about 2 and half hour and reaches the ridge at 4500m. We will lower down from the ridge and reach Ghopte after 3hrs of trek where we will stay overnight.

Day 11: Trek to Tharepati
Early in the morning, we will pass through the pine and juniper forest to hit the slope. We will climb up through the slope for about 2 hours to finally make it to Tharepati where we will stay overnight.

Day 12: Trek to Melamchi
Lowering down from the forest of spruce and rhododendron, we will reach Melamchi. We can view Melamchi Khola from Melamchi Village as Melamchi River exists just below the village.

Day 13: Trek to Tarke Gyang
We will take the descending trail from Melamchi Village to Melamchi Khola and then take a brief climb to Tarkegyang that exists on the other side of valley. There exists 18th century Gompa with huge prayer wheel of brass in Tarkegyang.

Day 14: Trek to Sermathang
We will follow the easy trail to Sermathang which is village of Sherpa ethnics. We can get views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Rolwaling, Gosainkunda and Everest from Sermathang on a clear day.

Day 15:  Back to Melamchi and then to Kathmandu
We will reach Melamchi Pul and drive back to Kathmandu. Chabahil Bus stop in Kathmandu is 59.2km far from Melamchi. We can reach Chabahail from Melamchi after about2hrs of drive.

Day 16: Departure
This is the end day of Langtang Circuit trekking package. You will be assisted in last moment preparation and taken to TIA from where you will board the plane back to your home.
